Send your stems, and The Voyager Studio will deliver a professional-quality mix and master. Our work has been featured multiple times on the City of Lubbock music compilation album called Lubbock Music Now. Need session musicians? We’ve got you covered. Let’s bring your music to life!
My name is Joey Cefalu, founder of The Voyager Studio. I’m a musician with over 20 years of experience and have spent the last decade mixing and mastering music—first for myself and the bands I played in, and now as a service for other musicians.
I believe in serving the song and delivering excellence with every mix. I understand the frustration of working with studios that make big promises but fail to deliver. My goal is to exceed expectations, providing a polished mix that you can be truly proud of.

Interview with The Voyager Studio
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with The Brothers Landreth. Their musical style is my favorite and they are all just fantastic musicians.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Currently I am operating in a small home studio. I primarily mix in my space at the moment. I have the ability to track single instruments or vocals, but when drums or full band rhythm sections are needed to be tracked I will outsource to another studio around me.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: There are many to name but a short list would include Cory Wong, Warren Huart, Andrew Masters, and Joe Carrell.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I will have bands or singer-songwriters come in and record their music. After that, I take what they recorded and mix/master it.
