Hi, I'm Alex!

I'm a queer, 21-year-old Pop and R&B songwriter and classically trained vocalist. As a student at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, I've been blessed with access to some of New York University's best studios & microphones to record vocals for my own music and tracks of other artists I've featured on. I grew up singing in the church from a young age, building my vocal technique and agility around gospel and R&B singers that I've grown to admire, later applying that technique to classical vocal training throughout all of high school. Studying the vocal style and songwriting techniques of some of the greats - Jazmine Sullivan, Stevie Wonder, and Ariana Grande to name a few of my favorites - I've crafted my own way of writing from the emotional depths of my soul, making my lyrics do more than just sit as words on a paper, my vocal delivery only adding to the yearning and authenticity present in them.
