I've worked with artists from all over the globe, including English Teacher (Mercury Price winners), Yeule, Picture Parlour, Matthew Bellamy, Mark Ronson (Barbie Soundtrack), and my own music as well.
After graduating from Berklee College of Music, with a dual degree in Music Production & Engineering and Vocal Performance, I have worked in many different studios, including Abbey Road Studios for the past four years, different sessions at Real World (owned by Peter Gabriel), and Mad Oak Studios in Boston.
I have my own home studio space, fully equipped with SSL pre amps, Logic, Pro Tools, and all the cool and necessary instruments to build my productions (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, keyboard, stylophone!).
I am open to both production and mixing projects, from singles to EPs and Albums. My focus in a production or mixing, is the communication with the artist. If your song has lyrics, I want to read it and understand your vision for the song, both emotionally and sonically. I don't need the technical terms to understand where the artist wants to go with their music. One can say they want a "guitar sound that feels like you're diving deep down into an empty and dark blue ocean in complete solitude", and I gotcha!!
I love experimenting with different sounds, and going beyond what's considered "normal" in the recording world, because not always what is considered "right" or "standard", is what will be best for the song or the emotional impact that the artist wants to convey in it. As I say, my motto is: "You have to know the rules to break the rules".

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked on the vocal recording session of Ryan Gosling, for the song "I'm Just Ken", from the movie Barbie, as assistant engineer, with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt producing and Ricky Damian engineering. What a fun and awesome day this was! We got later nominated for a Grammy, which was super special as well.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If in doubt, just send a message! Let me know about your project, goals and budget as well. Communicating is always the best way!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Ohhhh That's a tough one, but I would try and keep it efficient. I would go for the SSL 2+ audio interface, an AKAI MPK mini keyboard controller, a SM58 microphone, a Fender Strat, and the ATH-M50x headphones. Hopefully the computer is included on this trip!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Explore with what you have. Gear is great and fun to have, but it doesn't decide if a song will be amazing or not. You need to try things out, play with different sounds, distort, add some effects, or just taking some elements out of the sonic picture to create more space and dynamics in your song. Your knowledge and experience are some of the most precious parts of being a music producer, so in a simple way: just GO FOR IT!!

A: Production and Mixing are at the top of my list, which are very connected to each other as well.
