Signed to well known publishers "Big Life" a susiduary of Sony/ Universal in the early 2000,s Temenu honed his writing and production skills .Together with Michael Campbell they set up Saysumtin Records and production company TECAM Productions. Focusing on the development of the record label and productions .Creating an artistic outlet for their endeavours Temenu Campbell (Te,cam) was borne in 2012 developing their own style of soulful , urban influenced music they have had various releases over the last few years an eclectic mix of styles.Temenu has honed his skill set to mainly top line melodies and vocal production an accomplished published lyricist, vocalist and vocal arranger Temenu cut his teeth as the lead singer and one half of the songwriting team for well known British R&B vocal group "Troi" in the 1990s . Tecam Productions are based in London and Los Angeles and have production facilities on both sides of the Atlantic. The other half of Tecam Campbell (producer/Artist)Michael ran a recording studio in the back of Kirky C’s (Poisondart Sound) music station, Kirky being one of the biggest reggae sound systems in the US introduced him to many Jamaican reggae artists that he recorded and engineered for,Buju Banton,Capleton,Vybz Mad Cobra, Spragga Benz,Wayne wonder,I Wayne,Frankie Paul,Mr.Lexx,Movado,Don Carlos,and also hip hop artist Shock G (Digital Underground)

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be prepared and professional then we can create great art
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Microphone, laptop, audio interface, guitar, keyboard this is my Songwriters survival kit.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: When recording vocals I always record them Minus effects to get a more authentic vocal sound always record flat
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My work process can vary I can directly record and vocally produce the artist or work with previously recorded vocals ,which i process, comp and arrange to a high standard when the vocals are completed i offer fully mixed and treated vocals ready for mastering which can also come as stems if the artist requires, i also offer full backing vocal arrangements if required by the client

A: I work with 3 different DAW,s Protools, Logic Pro ,Luna my audio interface is a Universal Audio Apollo Twin on a Mac M1 system, A wide array of Universal Audio, Waves Plug ins , 2 Mikes Neuman & Rode

A: The Classic and legendary artists are my inspiration Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder ,Barry White, Donny Hathaway, Prince, Michael Jackson .Etc the list is way to long
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My Career path has been long and quite varied, starting out as a singer songwriter and being a member of 2 successful vocal groups, my skill set developed into the production side and I honed my talents in this area writing and producing for Big life Productions (Sony)

A: Jon Legend I love his scope of productions even though he has a classic soulful sound he does not limit himself to one genre and his approach is always about the song , this is my ethos when it comes to the creative process not to limit your creative endeavours
