prod for GothBoiClique, Derek Sanders(Mayday Parade), lil aaron, and more. 350 mil streams I will produce a full song for you (in my studio based out of LA), I can record it for you, I can write it for you, and I can tune your vocals and make you sound good even if you suck all for an affordable price.
Hey I'm jakkyboi. I started out in the emo rap scene in 2018 then signed a publishing deal with lil aaron and Dr Luke shortly after that. I have been in hundreds of different sessions with artists such as Yung Gravy, Rebecca Black, Elley Duhe. In these sessions i turn out an entire track all mixed/mastered by me (after the session) and i track, write, produce, play guitar or synth or piano or whataver is needed for the beat myself, then I track the vocalist (you) and turn it into a full song for you to use. I can also just record guitar for you, just tune/comp vocals for you, or any other services you can think of along those lines. I want your project to sound great and

Interview with Jakkyboi
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Convolk - Lonewolf EP was my first big project i worked on under Jakkyboi. Looking back working on that really set myself in a good place for what i'm able to work on today.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Heidi Montag, Wesghost, Jake Webber, Carrington,
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I just signed up for this site i'm not too sure yet. I will update in the future
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: both are great. the combo of both is where most ppl have the best success but it don't matter at all you could record off an iphone using bandlab or you could record in a 2 million dollar analog studio. Both can produce incredible results
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: A song they love that sounds better than what they've released before
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making and creating music everyday! I don't need to film myself for tiktok i can just make great music instead of being a social media creator!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "can you do everything" yes i can!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I only make emo rap music because of my run in 2018
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Being consistent is everything and if you're not you will fail
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: guitar, iphone, macbook, starlink wifi, and some sort of charging device that is solar powered? I don't think i'd be able to make any music without that lol
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been making music for a living since 2018 when I was able to quit my job at Burgers Priest in Toronto Ontario. I've been learning how to make music professionally since i went to a music recording/business college in 2014-16 and I have been playing piano since i was 8 (i'm 28 now) so... a lot time!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: weird but super catchy
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd like to work with an artist who needs help finishing a song or making a song from scratch. Whatever they can't do I would like to help and assist so we can make the best product possible for them.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Once you are at the level to finish your first song. You should make a bunch of more songs for an entire year before you show anybody in hopes to work with them professionally. You will be so much better a year later and will look a lot less dumb getting your foot in the door with mediocre work. trust me.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: early on in my career (2018) emo rap/pop punk now I am more focused on all sorts of EDM, hip hop beats, and post punk productions.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: melodic writing. I think I can create very catch stand out parts in your song. my 2nd strongest skill would be my ability to finish a product to bring it to a professional level.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: writing, producing, recording, instrument playing, basically anything you can't do yourself i can do for you. I'm a pro in live audio recording as well as making cool beats on my computer. I have many different credits in all sorts of genres to prove myself
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I typically start with a guitar/synth riff that kind of sets the tone for the song and build up from there. With vocals i love to go through the song a few times before we nail each area to see what type of energy we need for each part so it sounds natural instead of sounding pieced together. Once i finish my product i like to listen through the next day and touch up anything i missed with fresh ears.

A: post punk, edm, emo rap, pop punk,
