Interview with Light Snow
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: My fans tell me that my work is great, but I've been practicing since I was a child, which is why I'm here. I don't want my fans to misunderstand, because just like you, I get depressed and there are one or two people who don't like me. I'm human, after all! But I've decided that music and my family are the only things I can never separate. I tell my fans and everyone else that I don't want anyone to hurt my family and the people I care about. And I'm quite different from the ideal image that my fans have of me.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm a budding lyricist and haven't done any projects yet, but I promise I'll do my best.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Writing lyrics. I write and revise lyrics when I'm alone, like at night.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: This is Jordan, the administrator of this platform! I'm really proud of him because he always gives me advice and is someone I can trust. For now, he's the only person I know on this platform...
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: In my case, I write lyrics digitally! But when it comes to composing and producing, my dream is to write analogue and copy them on a copy machine. I think composing should be analogue too. For example, I want to play a grand piano or incorporate the sound of a harp into a song. But... when it comes to editing and providing it to other platforms like YouTube or Spotify, it becomes a digital tool.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I would like to continue providing my own lyrics and accepting requests for lyrics from clients, and selling the completed lyrics to clients!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It's an environment where I can write lyrics, hear the opinions of my fans, and work with many other artists.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Why only lyricists? My answer is that I am currently battling an illness and can only provide lyrics.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Accelerate customer needs The client's budget, current condition, and mental state also affect the lyrics, so I talk to the client a lot to understand what kind of lyrics they are looking for.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I am very sensitive and a little timid, but I think my passion for lyrics and love for music are stronger than anyone else! Please clearly tell me how you want me to work.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: That's an interesting question. (lol)If I were to go to a deserted island, I would take an axe, a lighter, and 2 liters of water. If I could take a pet, I would like to take a wolf as a hunting companion. If that's not possible, I would take a rifle. I don't like killing animals indiscriminately, but I'm grateful for them as food to survive. Sometimes you have to choose such harsh methods to survive in the wild. *You can only choose one pet and one rifle. If you can keep a pet, it's better to choose a pet. A rifle is heavy and requires training, but... And the last equipment is a pot. Because with a pot you can start a fire and cook. Once you have everything (axe, lighter, 2 liters of water, pet wolf or rifle, only useful in situations where you can only choose one, and the last one is a pot)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My biggest professional goal is to become the best musician in the world and use music to help people suffering from conflict, war, orphans, etc. I want to do the best for my family and friends. I would say that my career has just begun. I am still happy to be able to write lyrics like this, provide the best lyrics to my clients, and be trusted to work with fellow musicians. I am very grateful every day.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I'm a very unique person, but I always want to write lyrics about my life and meet lots of people.I want to give my fans lots of inspiration and hope.Whenever I go out, I always wear clean clothes.I also love jewelry and accessories! I wear a ring when I go out. I don't wear a ring on my ring finger. The reason is that I want to wear one when I get married (lol).
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to talk to and work with many artists. But the artist I most want to work with is Alexander Stewart because he changed my life when I was a kid. After I found his YouTube videos, I really wanted to become a musician. I want to be good enough to stand next to him.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I want to pursue my songs faithfully without giving up. My goal is to grow every day. I plan to write songs to help my fans, family, and friends. What's important is that the songs and lyrics contain all of my wisdom, and that I love my work as if it were my own child.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I currently have a chronic illness that prevents me from writing songs, but my music genre is pop.
