Hello! My name is Jordan, and I'm a producer, session keys player, arranger, and engineer based in Nashville. I am part owner/operator of an independent and multi-room recording studio as well, so my clients will have access to a recording space with all of the standard gear to will give your project the professional sound you've been looking for!
I graduated class of 2021 with a B.A. in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music in Boston. My early background begins in orchestral writing and orchestrating, so I have a keen ear and sense of what will work together in a production, as well as a confident vision for the final product. In focusing more on song production and recording, I get a thrill out of developing the song from its early seeds of inspiration into its full potential and eventually the final product! Whether your musical idea has only been recorded on a voice memo or in a multi-tracked demo, I'm able to help artists develop their work into a full-fledged production that can be commercially released.
In addition to serving as a producer, I am also a competent keyboardist with nearly 20 years of playing experience. Primarily on piano, I enjoy playing in a variety of contemporary styles including R&B, pop, funk, and rock.
I have access to a multi-room recording space complete with highlights such as an Audient 8024 analog console, Sonor drums and isolation room, a 1920 Cable Company upright piano, three additional isolation booths, various microphones, and analog synthesizers. I typically work in Pro Tools or Logic depending on the project, and have an expansive library of virtual instruments and plugins for endless creative possibilities!

Interview with Jordan Ezquerro
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Never expect the end product to be exactly as you planned; you'll find that some things just don't work well after trying them, and you'll find unexpected things that work better instead!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Lately, most of what I've worked on has been in the realm of Americana/Folk and pop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Being easy to work with and a great collaborator! To me, these skills come before anything music-related.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The work process varies between clients, but the first step is always getting to know them as a person - this is the most important step. From there, we can figure out exactly what they're looking for so that I can provide the best and most professional product possible.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup (which is available to all clients) is a multi-room space complete with a control room, live room, drum isolation room, three additional isolation booths, and a production suite. Some gear highlights include an Audient 8024 analog console, Mac M1 Studio with Pro Tools and Logic, a collection of microphones, and various analog synths.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Two people that come to mind are Max Martin and Robert Glasper. Max Martin has a perfected sense of knowing exactly what a track needs in the simplest way possible, and as a result, everything he touches can be understood by a worldwide audience. Robert Glasper is not only a world-class keys player, but a phenomenal producer as well that collaborates with a never ending list of other incredible artists. The way he approaches production is through large-scale collaboration, with multiple featured artists on every track of his later work.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common type of work typically starts with singer-songwriters who are looking transform their work into a fully-fledged production. This can start with either a finished song that's in a demo stage, or something that's not quite fully finished and needs refining and additional input before the tracking of the final product can begin. From there, a game plan can be formed for the production steps, which always looks different depending on the artist and the genre. I personally haven't experienced any two tracks being exactly the same in the process, which is something that I aspire towards. This way, the work that I do does not sound "copy and paste" from artist to artist with a formula that's been repeated over multiple times.
