Welcome! I’m Ash, a singer-songwriter with a knack for writing sticky melodies and lyrics that either make you think, laugh or cry. My songs are always clever and interesting. Whether you’re looking for poignant ballads, pop hooks or humor, I can do it all. I've got a knack for 'hearing the melody' when I hear the instrumental, and usually write lyrics and melody at the same time (but am open to 'just lyrics').

Ownership/Publishing: My job fees are low because I'm new here. But when you pay me, you’re paying to use the song I create, not to own it completely. Please contact me for pricing on full buy-outs. I retain copyright and publishing rights on everything I write, and songs will be registered with BMI and HFA/MLC. I own 50% of the song if I write the melody and lyrics ("Topline") or 25% if I write only the hook or chorus (depending on the number of writers involved). Royalties for the final recording can be negotiated for artist features on both independent and label releases.
