R&B / Funk Session Drummer

Hey! This is Devin Pruden, I am a session drummer from Los Angeles, CA. I have been playing for over 10 years, and have been recording myself for the past 5 years. I am a Logic Pro X user and have trusted gear. I strive to serve the song and to lean into your vision. I am ready to create and give you great raw drum tracks!

I am offering remote drum sessions, can also available for in person recording sessions. I specialize in Funk, R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, Singer-Songwriter, and groove based music. Stylistically, I can excel in covering a lot of ground.

With a balance of groove, dynamic sensitivity, and timing, in turn, my playing creates a very powerful foudation.

Devin can currently be seen performing and touring with various acts including The Urban Renewal Project, Niki J. Crawford, Bootleg Orchestra, Skyler Day, Rudy Touzet, Tayler Holder and South Side Symphony.

As a professional musician, Devin has performed at festivals like Cal World Fest, SXSW, Whale Rock Festival, San Jose Jazz festival (where he opened for Sly & The Family Stone), and NAMM in ’22 & ’25. He has also played numerous award shows including the WACO Gala in ’22, where he shared the stage with Andra Day & Chloe x Hallie, and The HIM Awards in ’24.

Devin has recorded on the soundtrack for the Apple TV series “Lady in the Lake” and the movie “Once Again (for the Very First Time)” while collaborating with South Side Symphony.
