I believe art exists beyond its medium; Music is literature is sculpture is cinema.

Originally Los Angeles based, I worked in studios and on stages playing music written by both others and myself. I care most about the concept of composition, and because of this I only work on projects I feel a personal investment in. I believe apathy is noticeable in session players, and want to do my part to work against that.

I find magnificent power in the small little sounds, pops, clicks that bring breath and life to recorded music.

I offer services playing Electric Guitar (fingerstyle), piano, organ (my first keyboard instrument), synthesizers (analogue or FM), classical guitar, and accordion. I also offer services in part writing (with an affinity for saxophones), reharmonization, and arranging.

In the studio, I voice my opinion once (as to encourage new ideas but not to steal focus), show up punctually, and bring coffee.
