Peruvian composer passionate about creating orchestral, chamber and electroacoustic music for interdisciplinary projects. Particularly proficient as a copyist, preparing scores and parts for live recording sessions, engraving and formatting scores.
Over time I have come to diversify my artistic work building ties between music and interdisciplinarity on diverse collaborative projects. Additionally, my curiosity for orchestration and detailed notation inspired me to assist as a copyist and prepare impeccable parts and scores for recording sessions.
After graduating with a Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College Chicago (2024), I worked as a copyist for composer Blair Borland on the custom arrangements for Ryan Trahan's Penny Series. Later on, I moved to Los Ángeles and joined the team of Joy Music House —founded by Catherine Joy— where I assisted as a copyist on projects such as Road to Everywhere, The Secret Lives of Animals and The White House Effect.
I have also collaborated on interdisciplinary projects with different artists such as Lesley Costello (poetry) and Lebaxi (collage), Ariana Cáceres (contemporary dance), Maritza Núñez (opera librettist), and Peruvian women directors from Piura, such as Shirley Andrade, Luz Zavala and Valeria Velásquez.
