Marc van Bebber on SoundBetter

Tight feel, warm tone, vintage soul – drums that serve the song, recorded through real analog tape.

I'm a remote session drummer based in Germany (Lower Rhine region) with a carefully built home studio. Since launching my session work in September 2025, I've recorded drums on around 30 songs and 2 EPs for artists in Germany, Belgium, France, and England.

Alongside a selection of vintage and modern kits (1960s Sonor Teardrop, 1982 Tama Superstar) and a wide range of snares and Meinl cymbals, I run a Revox A77 MK4 reel-to-reel tape machine in my signal chain - giving drum bus recordings real tape saturation for productions looking for that warm, organic 70s/80s character.

I offer two session options: a clean drums-only package with fully mixed stems, or the same session finished through the analog tape chain for extra vintage punch without plugin emulation.

Whether it's indie, Americana, funk, pop-rock, or soul — I get into your sound quickly and deliver reliably, with clear communication throughout.

Marc delivered fantastic drum tracks for a retro song. He knows exactly which drum kit suits which arrangement.
