With an omnivorous musical diet, Ammodea has a profound approach to sound and music production. She is a jazz trained musician who brings a deep sonic, harmonic and mixed naturalistic approach to every production. She is a production polymath having worked on Hip-Hop of all shades, R&B, Folk, Jazz, Rock and experimental music.
A talented composer, producer, sampling artist, mixing & mastering engineer, and vibraphonist with a radical musical philosophy who works with radical musicians. Located in North Jersey, Ammodea works with artists in the NJ/NYC area. Working in Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Classical idioms there isn't anything she can't work with.
She has worked as a composer, producer, engineer and performer with many artists such as Béla Fleck, Arturo Sandoval, Steve Nelson and Yung Mallet.
Ammodea provides a very communicative and compassionate approach to whoever she works with.
She is an accredited musician with a BA in Musical Composition/Theory with a Jazz Concentration at the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University. Ammodea works in Logic Pro X, and can work with prerecorded material or capturing live sound.
