Chad Darou

Multi-instrumental session man

Chad Darou on SoundBetter

I have 30+ years experience working as a remote session artist able to play guitar, banjo, mandolin, dobro and bass for any genre of music. I have several credits to my name including a #1 CD. And have done work for countless artists.

Having started playing music at 8 years old, I have 40 plus years experience. I’ve got a #1 CD of my own, and have contributed to many other projects ranging in genre from bluegrass, country & Americana to jazz, blues & classic rock. I’m an award winning, professional level artist on guitar, banjo, mandolin, dobro, lap steel & bass, and have my own studio using protools and several different top tier microphones. My turn around on tracks is pretty quick. Most generally can get a finished product back within a few hours of receiving the track sheet, and rhythm and vocal track to record to.

This is from my album Susquehanna Line. Who’s Sorry Now featuring Wayne Taylor and Mallory Evans on vocals. Awesome song in the style of Willie Nelson

I was the Recording engineer, guitar, banjo, mandolin, dobro and bass player in this production
