Michael O'Connor (also known as "X") is a Grammy award-winning producer and mix engineer who moved to Nashville in the early 2000s. He began his career as an intern at Sound Stage Studios and was later hired as a staff engineer there.

He has worked extensively in contemporary Christian music as a producer and mix engineer for Full Circle Music alongside 3x Grammy Award winning producer Seth Mosley.

X's production + mixing skillset ranges across all genres, from rock/pop artists such as Skillet, Sam Tinnesz, and Confetti, to country music artists Chris Lane, Cooper Alan, and High Valley, and Christian music artists such as For King & Country and Phil Wickham.

X also mixes in true Dolby Atmos, prioritizing high quality in the format along with its stereo companion.
