“How do you get that sound?” is a question I’ve heard often throughout my music career. Staying a student of music—and evolving with it through time and technology—has been key to maintaining relevance in this ever-changing industry.

My musical journey began on the west side of Chicago, where I fell in love with the trumpet in elementary school. That love, paired with relentless dedication, led to awards, recognition in Who’s Who in Music, and a spot in Chicago’s All City Jazz Band. Those early foundations helped shape the producer and songwriter I am today.

I specialize in songwriting, production, mixing, mastering, and creative consulting. While R&B/Soul are my core, I’ve worked across Pop, Southern Soul, Gospel, Rock, and Hip-Hop—collaborating with both major and indie artists.

I’m also deeply committed to mentorship, having taught music production and business at the high school and college levels. Many of my former students are now thriving professionals in the music industry.
