Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Right now, I'm working a lot with my artists on their career development. Our artistic direction will mainly go on a mix of Afro and urban music.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Many customers ask me or think that I am able to make up for and correct defects or poor sound recordings, or even poor performance. What is totally wrong : I will never be able to make up for a bad take, possibly minor defects, but I am a sound engineer not a magician.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: First of all, I need to know their needs : what is their purpose? Why do they want to release a song or not? Is it a single or an EP ? Are they independent or signed in a structure? What is their musical style ? Do they have references? I need to know them well before offering them my services.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been a sound engineer since 2016, I have worked in various structures, both private and public or associative. Currently I work in a studio as a freelancer and I also do online work.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: - Get inspired by the best - Stay humble - There's no point in running, you have to leave on time
