Inspired by the resilience of people amidst the covid-19 global pandemic fighting for both their own lives and that of their loved ones, he recorded his debut single "Take a step " to help re-energize people to fight for the lives of their loved ones. The song later made it to top 5 on two of Uganda's major music streaming websites.

Jang Luo is a Ugandan Afrobeat musician, music Producer, actor and businessman.
Main Genres are Afrobeat, Ragga Dancehall and Pop.
He was born in Gulu city of Northern Uganda on 21st. February. 1990.
He was born the 2nd child in a family of seven children to Mr. Oola Peter Oruk and Ms. Filder Adoch.
Jang Luo started writing and recording music professionally in 2021.
Inspired by the resilience amids the struggle people were making as a result of the covid-19 global pandemic, he wrote and recorded his debut single "Take a step " to help re-energize people to fight for the lives of their loved ones.
The song later made it to top 5 on two of Uganda's major music streaming websites, playuganda music chart as well as howiebiz top 100.

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked on a cultural and historical movie project back in 2023. I'm particularly proud of this movie because I get to be part of the team that has to deliver this cultural artifact that can be passed down to future generations. My role was co-star

  4. A: Digital, it's alot easier to reach many more people

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: I'll always listen to you

  7. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  8. A: I get to meet and work with many people on a friendly atmosphere, and get my listener's feedback

  9. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  10. A: They usually wanna know how I make my songs, if they could appear in my music videos. As usual my answer is you're invited to my official YouTube account and watch videos of how I make my songs. And ofcourse they can appear in my music videos if they are available on the days we'll be shooting them.

  11. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  12. A: Where I come from, most people think musicians are gamblers who don't wanna work hard. Others believe artists are just a bunch of guys who do drugs, womenizers and weed smokers.

  13. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  14. A: Expect to get the full value for every dime you're going to use.

  15. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  16. A: Ofcourse I have myself, so I would take my guitar, my piano, computer, my recorder, my speakers

  17. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  18. A: Professionally I'm a Pharmacist, however because I love to speak my heart and soul out more, I chose to always do so through my music.

  20. A: My style is Pop music with an infusion of African culture, history and tradition.

  22. A: Hirahara Ayaka, I love her persona, her voice filled with kindness and love makes me wanna create something everlasting with her.

  24. A: Yeah, before you start working on a song know the genre you wanna make, then know who you wanna sing to

  25. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  26. A: Pop, Afrobeat, K-Pop in English

  27. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  28. A: My feelings, resilience and grit bound together with my kindness.

  30. A: I put my heart, body and soul to making a song and bring life through the melodies and vocals to a song.

  34. A: Tour guiding, searching and booking accomodation, translation of documents and languages, for example translation of Japanese>< English, Japanese<>Luo, hosting clients for home visits and stay, make your own memory song, provide work-tour environment for tourists globally.
