Interview with EYE SOUND STUDIO
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: We started as musicians, a DJ and a Jazz piano player with 15 years of experience in music industry.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic dance music but we have various different projects from diferent genres here and there.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: We love adding a right character to the track, the good ratio between punch and warmth, precision and wideness.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: We mainly work on mixes and masterings for various different labels, usually it's a vinyl format.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Our studio is acoustically treated by Jean Pierre Lafont the acoustician of Jean-Michele Jarre. As a main monitoring we use Barefoot Micromain27 2nd gen that have multiple listening settings as hi-fi, NS10 and Cube Avatones. For analog summing we use one of the Studer consoles and for mastering we have a very unique analog rig that sound perfect on any well mixed track.
