mixing engineer for deep house and melodic house & techno
Vicente Amadeo founder of Ikigai studio started his music journey in 2007 when he decided to take a step up and study sound engineer at S.A.E institute in Australia. A few years later wanting to improve his knowledge and skills on mixing and mastering he did a course at Dub spot in New York focusing on the topic. In 2015 Vicente went to play in Berlin and end up having a full masterclass with mixing engineer guru and producer Hannes Bieger. They mixed two tracks in a day. "Was amazing to see and learn how he was working with other artists." After some years Vicente end up moving to Berlin and had the possibility of doing many mixing sessions with many great producers that are also passionate in what they do. as Hannes Bieger, Tobi Neumann, Klas (Sasse aka freestyle man), Heiko (Kotelete e zadar), Andreas Hennenberg, Dilby and Mathias schober (tutorials)… Mixing with many different engineers was important to see how different approaches can work. whatever doing a lot of processes or keeping it simple. It really depends of what the track needs and artistic vision behind. Since 2020 Vicente have been working closely with a few artists whereas mixing or in the production process. We offer direct contact with the artist, listen to the music carefully before sending the stems and make as many revisions the project needs for better customer satisfaction.
