Stan Sedziak on SoundBetter

Stand out in the crowded industry with your heavy, growling, speaker-blowing material. This is how I help extreme metal bands and musicians:

Hey there, my name is Stan. As a BA (Hons) Audio Engineering graduate, an audio nerd, and a huge enthusiast of the heavy scene, I help metal, hardcore, punk, and rock bands solve their technical audio problems and bring out what's best in their music using science and experience.
To put it simply: Recording // Mixing // Mastering.

Even the most picky audiophile nerd, or the sweatiest drop-B guitar shredder, will end up loving the results of our collaboration. If not, you can expect a full refund, and you're always welcome to share your opinion or thoughts.

Request a live consultation and a 15-second mix/master snippet of your song completely free of charge. You can do that here, or via email: contact@stansedziak.com

You can find my portfolio at:

I'm based in Berlin, Germany. I get the work done from my home-studio in Schoneweide, and other professional recording studios all over Berlin.

I play lead guitar in Permafrost and the collaboration all throughout the EP mix/mastering was amazing. The communication and workflow was spot on , ideas were great and most importantly the response time was very good. I highly recommend Stan if you are looking for a hands on audio engineer that will not just produce your works but elevate them.

Interview with Stan Sedziak

  1. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  2. A: Besides my 4-year audio engineering experience, for the past 8 years I've been writing, producing, and releasing my own music. So you're in fact hiring a fellow musician. I also play bass and can pluck a guitar string!

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Don't think too much! Let all the creative ideas out as soon as you can. Worry about polishing them later. Or even better, hire someone to do that for you ;)

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Jim Simmons from Adrian, MI. Incredibly kind and skilled engineer. He helped me a lot with setting up as a beginner. https://soundbetter.com/profiles/180142-jim-simmons#profile-profile
