There's some realness to my voice that comes from my heart. Professional alto/mezzo-soprano vocalist. Multi genre, versatile, bilingual, I can either sound pop modern or beautifully old school.
I've been singing and studying voice since I was a little kid and I've been working joyfully as a musician for over 15 years.
Singing is a spiritual practice for me. I put love, dedication and commitment to the quality of the music I deliver.
I pour my heart into each song and find that communication is key to achieving the best and realest possible version of your song, so don't hesitate to talk to me and explain all the details of your project and your expectations, I'm delighted to know.
Here's how our collaboration typically unfolds:
- You message me and tell me what you're looking for. You may attach your song right away so I can listen to it.
- We talk and agree on the terms and once the project is funded, I start working.
- I send clips for your approval and feedback.
- I send you the dry vocals.
Let's do some magic together!

Camila is not only an excellent singer with a unique voice, but also incredibly kind and efficient. I came to her with a vague idea, and she immediately understood what I was going for! I won’t hesitate to work with her again when I need a vocalist. Oh, and a bonus — she’s super fast! She delivered the work in just one day!
Interview with Camila Celia
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm especially proud of what I did a couple months ago recording vocals for a song that is just delightful. It hasn't come out yet, but it's a bolero from a local artist called Fede Pagna, and I sang the female part, it's less than a feature but more than backing vocals. It came out soooo smooth. Can't wait for it to be out in the world!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on my original songs for my personal project, Celia.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Ezequiel Cohen, great Sax and flute player, and a true artist.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: For production: Digital. It makes everything so much easier and accesible. For listening: Analog. I miss when there wasn't so much information floating around all at the same time, it can be overwhelming. It was nice buying one album and listening to it fully without distractions.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I won't let you down!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: That I get to be creative, even if it means choosing between a clean or breathy sound for a specific syllable, there are always creative choices to be made.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can you do this in one/two days? and my answer is: Yes!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Sometimes people don't unrdestand that being a musician, and especially a singer is almost like being an athlete. You have to take great care of your body, mind and soul to be able to perform properly. I train and take good care of myself so I can flow freely and have fun while singing.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's the feeling that you'd like to evoque with this piece of music? Would you prefer a quick turnaround, or a slower workflow with more feedback stances?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please communicate your needs and desired outcomes as clearly as possible. Any subjective information about the sound or the feeling you're aming for are golden.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I'd take a spanish guitar, an argentine bombo legüero, any kind of flute, a notebook and a pen.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been stuying voice and singing since I was about 9 years old. I forme my first all girl punk rock band in my teens. I graduated from Buenos Aires Music School at 22. I've been working joyfully as a musician since 2009. I just love it.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Unique. It comes from within.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: If we're gonna dream big, I'd love to work with Rick Rubin. I admire his holistic approach to music production.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Trust your intuition! She knows!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: The genres where my performance is strongest are: pop-rock, latin, folk and jazz.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Versatility. I can do many different styles and genres. I do have a personal style that I can tap into, but I can morph into various characters.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a warm, personal tone. I'm very versatile and can work with many vocal styles, but there's an all encompassing warmth in the voice that comes from within that can't be denied.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I talk to the client, ask them what the project is about and what they expect from my performance. I recieve audio files and listen. I evaluate and use my intuition to find a sound that would fit the song. I get to work. I record and send clips for the client to approve. If necessary, I adjust, re-record and send the files back to the client.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My gear: Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen interface. Audio Technica AT2020 condenser microphone . Audio Technica ATH-M30X headphones for monitoring. I work on Ableton Live 11 or Pro Tools 12
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: From Fionna Apple to Frank Ocean to Bonnie Raitt, all kind of singer-songwriters that are real and passionate resonate with me. I love when an artist dives fully into all aspects of the production.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I record lead and backing vocals. Most of the times I follow a pre written melody and lyrics, sometimes I create them from scratch. Both are awesome endeavours.
