Interview with Spike Ste

  1. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  2. A: Customers usually ask about my delivery time. Since this is my main job, I always want to dedicate most of my days to this

  3. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  4. A: I have many projects that I really liked to be part of, but the most pleasurable for me are the one where I performed live. I think that is what I really love above all

  5. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  6. A: I'm mainly working as a session musician and performer with mostly double bass, and also producing my songs

  7. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  8. A: I know a lot of them but not personally

  9. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  10. A: Digital for its transportability, analog for its sound

  11. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  13. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  14. A: Connecting with other people and cultures, growing musically. And of course, music is all my life so I wouldn't do anything different

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That good gear makes you a great musician

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: I always ask their goal, their deadlines and what is the project for

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Let me deeply understand the feeling that a part or a song should express

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: An acoustic guitar, a pen and a paper to write will be enough

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I started when I was 10 with electric bass, then I entered a music high school and started with double bass, as well as songwriting, at the age of 14.
