Starting out as a guitar player and songwriter. Niko got the opportunity to work closely with producers like Bob Rock, Michael Beinhorn, and Joe Chiccarelli with his first label-signed band, Classless Act. Soon after, he began working out of his studio "The Garage" as a engineer, recording dozens of local bands as well as working with Mark Stoermer from The Killers, Alex Carapetis from the Voidz, as well as members of Grandson. Coming from a rock and metal background, his production style is aggressive and punchy. However, he has recorded artists ranging from jazz, to singer-songwriter, to hard rock, and all in-between. For mastering he uses analog hardware exclusively. For mixing he uses both digital and a few of his favorite pieces of analog gear. Since he comes from an artist background, he believes that the artist is always right, and will work diligently until their vision is realized.
