Milan Prokop

Pop Music Producer, Drummer

Milan Prokop on SoundBetter

I will give you the musical expertise you need, to bring your songs to life. Whether you're a singer, songwriter, drummer, or musician of any kind, if you need support with a project, I'll work closely with you to understand your vision and deliver exactly what you need.

Hello! My name is Milan, and I'm a producer based in Berlin. With over 12 years of experience playing drums, 6 years on the piano, and 5 years on the guitar, I've dedicated my life to music and its expression. Rather than being in the spotlight as a frontman, I found my passion behind the scenes, working closely with singers, songwriters, and artists to bring their musical visions to life. For me, communication is key—understanding what the artist needs and delivering exactly that.

What I Offer: I specialize in the creative aspects of the song-making process, including arrangement, composition (melodies, chords, drums), and mixing. Whether you're looking for an indie, jazz, or rock vibe, I can craft the sound you're envisioning!

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Listening to and feeling the mix is way more important the looking on numbers and statistics.

  5. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  6. A: I usually make pop/indie/electronic/rap songs.

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: Understanding what the artist needs and doing exactly that. I think this is the most important skill a producer can have.

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: Whatever you need. From only recording, to making the whole song based on what you can give me.

  11. Q: What's your typical work process?

  12. A: Before diving into the creative process, I sit down with the artist to discuss their concept for the song. Once I fully understand how I can contribute, I compose, mix, and arrange until the artist is completely satisfied with the result.

  13. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  14. A: In my studio I can record vocals, guitar, piano and even live drums. I use a rode NT 2-A as the main vocal mic and the Tascam US 16x08 as my interface.

  15. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  16. A: Jacob Collier is a major inspiration for me. His mastery across diverse genres and instruments is exactly what I aspire to achieve in my own work.

  17. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  18. A: Producing music for artists and singers. Meaning: arrangement, recording instruments, mixing and overall production of the song.
