If you are looking for a talented, hardworking, and deadline-oriented musician, you came to the right place. I am able to blend elements from multiple different genres that ultimately combine to create a unique sound. I am always ready to work with other creatives who have the same goal in mind: to share their art with the world.
My name is Alexander Grinacoff, otherwise known as XELA. I am an EDM producer based out of New York, specializing in melodic house. Although, I am capable of working with multiple different genres of music such as DnB and Pop. I have been producing music for almost three and half years. In that time, I have been able to zero in on my skills. Not only have I worked on my own tracks that I have released to different streaming platforms, but I have also had experience interning at a recording studio. I would also like to mention that I have recently been working on creating tracks for sync licensing distribution libraries. My top skills include composing instrumentals, mixing audio, mastering audio, sync licensing . Through SoundBetter, I am offering full instrumental productions, ghost production, audio mixing and mastering, and beat making. Also, if you are an artist looking for an upbeat and creative spin on your own track, I am offering remixing as a service as well.

Interview with XELA
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently, I am working on a 4-5 track EP that I will be self releasing to all DSP’s. It mainly consists of melodic and bouncy house tracks but there are also elements from other genres such as Hip-Hop that can be heard. This ultimately helps to showcase my ability to work with different sounds/styles.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My ‘promise’ to my clients is to produce and deliver high quality work that meets industry expectations while maintaining the authenticity and vision of the client.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Originally, I began college as a finance major. Although, I ultimately decided to change course when I realized the deep passion I have for music and music production. With that, I decided to change from the School of Business to the School of Communications, where I was able to land an internship at a recording studio in Los Angeles. Since graduating, I have been working on tracks for a sync licensing distributor as well as honing in on my own individual sound in each of my releases.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on EDM/House music, but also really love working with other genres such as Hip-Hop and Pop-Rock.
