Hi, I'm Jakob Vasak, a composer and sound artist based in Berlin. I graduated with my MA in MultimediaArt - Audio in 2023. Recently, I've been focusing on film scores, including projects like The Railway Men (Netflix) and Eternal (Denmark). As a sound artist, I bring a unique blend of classical training and contemporary techniques to create immersive and emotionally resonant soundscapes. My work is characterized by a deep exploration of sonic textures, aiming to enhance the narrative and emotional depth of every project I take on. Whether it's a film score or an experimental sound project, I strive to push the boundaries of what sound can achieve, creating powerful audio experiences that captivate and inspire.
"His debut album, Second Connection, and the EP Impermanence, showcase his unique talent for blending classical music traditions with contemporary sounds, resulting in compositions that are both timeless and innovative. These works illustrate his skill in crafting music that not only resonates with listeners but also invites them on a journey of introspection and connection."
