  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Just finished my album and am in the process of releasing a song every other week on my spotify!

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: KRWZL is an amazing engineer! Check him out!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital just because it's all I know but I would love to try analog one day :)

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: To always deliver the highest quality service of which I am capable!

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: That i get to wake up everyday and make music! There is nothing better! Let's make music together :)

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Can I cater songs for an American artist? Yes! I am from the UK but I can say the words in the reference track that will make it easy to be used in an American voice.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That it is easy. Sometimes ideas don't flow in the way that we'd like them to. But you must keep pushing and with that I always deliver the highest quality service for my client possible!

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: 1. What type of Hip Hop song are you looking to create? Trap? Boombap? Cloud Rap? Make that clear. 2. What is the concept / mood? Is it a sad song? What is sad about it? (for specific songs like sad songs I can send over demos I have made for my own music and see if you connect with the vibe) 3. Do you have any references? Any songs that inspired this one?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Be as in depth about the product you want to receive. I create reference tracks for my clients and send snippets over to see if the client likes what he/she hears. Tell me your concept in full so I can create the song that you want :)

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Laptop , Shure SM7B , interface of any kind , fl studio and sennheiser headphones

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I have been writing music since I was sixteen but started releasing music about 10 years ago! I have released an EP called "Sugar Coats Won't Keep You Warm this Winter " and then in 2020 released my album "Don Luciano" which collectively has nearly 1 Million streams! I was in a rap collective called Common Roots and we put on shows all around London for a few years , before us all going our separate ways. I have been honing my sound as an artist and I am releasing my next album later this year!

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: I'd say I am pretty adaptable in style but I really enjoy making songs that have a deeper meaning to them!

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Kendrick Lamar, i would love to just sit and watch him work and take notes :)

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Trust your intuition at all costs. If what you are doing isn't "conventionally" right but feels right to you as an artist it is correct. We are all on our own journeys and want to create what sets our souls on fire. Trust intuition , always.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Mainly HipHop and all it's sub genres. But have worked on pop songs before and RnB.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Artistry , just because it fully encapsulates my skillset of writing and recording music as a whole. I also would say my ability to make the picture in my imagination become real in music form. I live by an acronym I created for myself - EIMR which means Every Idea Made Real. I want to help bring your ideas alive :)

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Attention to detail. I previously said that I admired Kendrick Lamars music and I aim to deliver that sort of attention to detail with every client I work with. I am genuinely passionate about music and want to always make the best product possible.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I usually work with the client on a concept that they are interested in - whether it be deeply personal about their life , or they just wanna have fun - and I also encourage the client to provide any reference songs that they were inspired by.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: Focusrite solo interface , Shure SM7B microphone , Macbook M4 16 GB , FL Studio

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Kendrick Lamar....need I say why hahaha?

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I mainly write rap songs for my clients - especially cloud rap , trap and boom bap but I have also done drill plenty of times as well.
