Interview with Siyeon Choi
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I released two digital singles last year and I'm proud of them because they are my first official works and I dedicated myself as a producer: I composed, wrote, arranged, and played instruments.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Recently I've got to enjoy using paper and pens rather than typing on my smartphone or computer. I like feeling the tip of the pen scratch the paper's surface.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I'm not lazy. I'm creative.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been a musician since I was 12 years old. I learned how to play the acoustic guitar by myself and soon made my song.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I prefer artists who are sensitive and considerate. They will make me comfortable and it helps to be creative when I sing or make toplines.
