Over 20 years experience in song writing/guitar playing. About 13 years ago I started recording myself on a crappy laptop. The ability to turn a little riff, into a full blown song kept me hungry to learn everything I could about audio engineering/production. I've recorded, mixed, written on a high level with countless musicians.

As a professional gigging musician, my standard is set to the highest. Mindset towards each project is most important in my opinion. There is no "right and wrong", only choices, and different perspective. Serving each song is NUMBER ONE...theres no room for ego and arrogance if you want to sniff any kind of success. Sometimes its ideal to have perfectly polished mix, other times its not. Before a client and myself start on the musical side of things, its important for me to understand their goals and provide the best way to get there. I'm full of ideas and pathways, and leave any bit of selfishness at the door. There have been times someone has told me they weren't feeling an idea...GOOD. I'm all about open and honest communication. Like i said...serve the song, not me. Aside from song writing with artists I will list below, I have remotely mixed many songs along with different aspects of audio books for Audible clients.
