Drummer of multiple styles, multi-instrumentite, songwriter and music producer. I've been recording drums for over 13 years using vintage Ludwig drums generating vintage and modern sound. Send me your music and I assure you that I will embellish it from the role that I have to play. * I offer free demo *
With more than 200 songs recorded, some in my own studio and others in recording studios in Argentina, I offer to record drums for your music with a lot of dedication, musicality and love. I like to put a lot of focus on the sound and being able to give options, always thinking about what the song needs.
I have top of the line equipment; In drums I have Ludwig, Sonor, Pearl; on cymbals Istanbul Agop, Zildjian - many measures of hihats, crashes and rides. I also use recording tricks to find what I'm asked for.
I recorded 5 albums with my band “Todo Aparenta Normal” (edited by Warner Music and S-Music), 2 albums of my own music where I recorded all the instruments. And I recorded drums on albums by incredible artists from Argentina like Lisandro Aristimuño, Ignacia, An Espil, Baltasar Comotto, Fenna Frei, Chau Mística, La Condena de Cain, I also collaborated with artists like Marilina Bertoldi, Nico Sorin, Zenon Pereyra, Tweety Gonzalez, and many more artists.
I like to record and play all kinds of musical styles; I think that where I make the difference is in genres like Rock, Pop, R&B, experimental, electronic, always where the song is the most important thing.
The most important thing for me is to embellish the song from my contribution.
I also work as a music producer. If you need someone to carry out and finish your songs, I can record all the instruments too.
Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.

Interview with Juan Pablo Alfieri
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, Rock, wherever
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: the versatility in fills, in playing modes, and in audio. By also playing harmonic instruments and composing I feel that I have a more musical outlook than a "normal" drummer.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: what the song needs
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen to the material, and once we agree about the audio with the artist. First I record what the artist proposes to me, then I propose changes or suggestions. I like to send, in addition to what is stipulated, some takes with new ideas that arise.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have 11 preamps. I have a hybrid between Universal Audio and Presonus. I have Shure microphones for toms and snare, Aston Starlight for overheads, Audiotechnica for bass drum and rooms, Sountronic for hihat. I have Ludwig, Sonor and Mapex batteries. Ludwig drums, pearl, sonor. Cymbals Istanbul agop, Istanbul mehmet, Zildjian. Various sizes of hihats, rides and crashes. I also have a lot of toys for audio experiments.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Mark Giuliana, John Bonham, Benny Greb, Nate Smith, St Vincent, David Byrne, Gustavo Cerati, Sting, Vinnie Colaiuta, Billie Eilish and Finneas,
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I listen carefully to the music and talk to the client to agree on what they would like. Then I set the battery I need, with the microphones I need, until I get to the audio we need. Then I record the closest thing to the demo they ask me for and after the first take I start proposing ideas.
