Mastering services for all budgets and platforms. I take pride in my ability to yield quality results in quick turn around suited for artists looking to release great sounding music promptly and efficiently.

I offer remote mastering services out of my home studio in Oneonta NY. I have a bachelor's degree in Music Industry and have had over 200 hours of studio time in my education. I have been doing freelance audio engineering to many capacities for the last 3 years, though primarily mastering. I use a hybrid setup though much of my workflow is in analog, and I use a 2400 Imperium sent to my two HS5s as my monitoring system. Please contact me for inquiries at smlagarry@gmail.com.   1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Hybrid. Some of the most iconic heavyweights in the industry are doing plenty of work in the box these days, but can still agree on the magic of analog.

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: To ensure my master is an authentic representation of your creative input.

  5. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  6. A: Working in a field where both the client and I are doing what we do out of passion.

  7. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  8. A: That mastering is just about making something louder

  9. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  10. A: How transformative do you want me to be? Some clients may be satisfied with the mix and are only seeking cohesion and true to form gain staging. In other cases the client may be looking for some added color and a unique angle for the track that is not currently present.

  12. A: Tenderly aggressive.

  13. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  14. A: Portrayal of Guilt. The sound pairings and sonic landscape in their music / production is absolutely beautiful.

  16. A: Learn everything you possibly can about phase.

Terms Of Service

RATES:

1-3 Tracks - $70 per track, $85 for stems

4-6 Tracks (Stereo) - $55 per track, $65 for stems

7+ Tracks - $35 a track, $45 for stems
