Hello! My name is Juan Ignacio Varela, I'm a professional saxophone player and producer, performing with various groups in the scene of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I play both alto and tenor sax.
I've been playing music for 15 years and i have a large experience in live shows, studio recordings and horn-arranging. I sudied with some of the greatest jazz masters in the country. I played and recorded with Legendary Prog-band "Bubu" and led my own projects.
One of my main strenghts is my creativity to improvise solos and create new melodies over songs. I have a large career in jazz, but i also grew up listening and performing all kinds of rock music, (morphine, king crimson, led zeppelin, genesis...) so i have an experienced and personal voice in that style and im constantly collaborating with artist on different genres.
