Recorded my first album in 1993 and played professional gigs starting in 1995. I started mixing and recording on analog16 track and was a part of the music industry as digital took over, I know both sides.
There is no "FIX IT IN THE MIX" with me. Using a multitude of professional mics in a 900 sq ft live-room with 12 ft ceiling height and no right angles, I focus on their precise placement in the room and around the drum set to record the cleanest and most natural sound. The goal is a perfect capture and performance.
