Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: Producing Dolly Parton and Alison Krauss together was a highlight of my career. Working with Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson meant a lot to me, as well.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Multiple albums and projects. Currently producing the winner of The Voice.

A: Many

A: Either that the artist wants. However, digital is less costly, more efficient and more versatile.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: That I will give you exactly what you want from your music project.

A: Creating music and the highest professional level.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: “How do I make it?” There is no easy answer to that question.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That it’s easy or anybody can do it. Or worse, that it’s not necessary. Some people don’t even know what a producer does.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: How do you see your music and your project? I will make your exact vision happen.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: I can help you save time, money and mistakes. By hiring me you gain access to the highest level of musicians, engineers, studios and results.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Guitar, iPhone, good headphones, paper and a pen.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I began as an artist and songwriter. I’ve had multiple major label recording deals. I’ve toured. I began producing my own music, then others. My father, Roger Miller, was a very successful artist. I have been in and around the music business since before I was born.

A: Flexible, versatile and top level.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I have worked with many artists I dreamed of working with. I’ve produced projects with Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and many, many other well known artists.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Work with professionals at the highest level possible. It will save you time, money and expensive mistakes.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Rock, country, pop, etc. There isn’t much I can’t produce.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Interpreting what an artist wants and knowing how to put together the right elements to bring that vision to life.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring thirty years of high level success and experience to every project I produce. There’s not much I can’t do in the way of recording projects.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: It varies depending on each project. I discuss with the artist what they want and then I begin making that exact vision happen.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I work in some of the most well known studios all over the world. My favorites are in Nashville.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I am inspired by artists and creators at every level. I work with some of the most well known professionals in the music business but I also love to work with new artists. I find it very inspiring.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I produce music at the highest level. I can help with almost any genre. I will help you make your music project exactly what you want it to be.
