Lekna on SoundBetter

I may have no awards, no big artists under my name but one thing I can tell you is let's bring your vision to life!

As a musician and a producer myself, I understand that sending your work to someone to mix or produce can be frustrating, so what I can offer is to ensure you get the vision you deserve and left happy!

- Mixing
- Music Producing
- Mastering

For mixing, please send rough mix and/or song references and let me know how many stems you are planning on sending. For mastering, please send your mix and if required a master reference of your track.

I accept Pro Tools or Logic sessions but make sure all audio files have been printed/bounced in place especially if there is a certain sound design you wanted.

Interview with Lekna

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Analog for me. I do like digital and I do mix in digital but me analog just adds colour and natural harmonics that digital can never replicate.

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: I will always make sure the the client is happy with the end result. That's THE most important thing

  5. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  6. A: Every 8 bars try to add new, reintroduce, or remove elements into your song. Its keeps the listeners engaged and not bored of hearing the same things over again during there song.

  7. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  8. A: I mainly work on disco, pop and funk tracks but I love a bit of rock!

  9. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  10. A: I'm never afraid to take risks and try something new that others may doubt.

  11. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  12. A: I have a home studio and mainly use Pro Tools for all my sessions but I sometimes use Logic. I have rack system with analogue gear: 500 series SSL pre amps x 2, Urei 1178 Compressor, Clark Teknik 1176 & DBX 286s. I use Yamaha HS7 as my monitor speakers.

  13. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  14. A: Nile Rodgers is a big inspiration for me as an artist and a music producer while Andrew Scheps is my main mixing inspiration.
