Hello,

I'm Rajat Singh, known in the creative realm as 'Ruhaan79.' Currently based in Jaipur, I'm carving my path as an artist. Since 2011, I've immersed myself in songwriting and performance, officially pursuing these passions since 2015.

My songwriting primarily flows in Hindi and Punjabi, infused with English, Marwari, and Haryanvi. In 2019, I ventured into solo artistry as Ruhaan79, focusing on conscious, existential, and self-reflective rap with a signature interplay of simple and dark sounds. The debut album, 'Kaidi No. 79' (2019), produced by DAKSH, set the tone. Subsequent works include 'Living Proof' (2021) and the EP 'Lost & Found' (2022). Additionally, I lent my voice and lyrics to the EPBL Anthem, 'Posterize.'

My music found a place in curated playlists on Spotify, Apple Music, JioSaavn, YouTube Music, Hungama, and Wynk. Featured on the cover of Spotify's 'Fresh Finds India' playlist. My work has been covered by magazines such as magazines like The Indian Music Diaries, Rolling Stone India, and The Score Magazine. Tracks were aired on VH1, Doordarshan Rajasthan, BBC Leads, Radio City Freedom, Radio City, Red FM, FM Tadka, among others. Currently, I'm immersed in crafting my third solo album.

Beyond solo endeavors, I co-founded 'Atrangi Funkaar,' an indie band focused on creative innovation. With EPs like 'Funk Shastra' (2022) and 'Filmy' (2023).
