Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Phoebe Bridgers, her music has inspired me and a lot of the people that I work with and it would be really incredible to go to the root of inspiration for a lot of the music I've worked on and see what her process is like.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Acoustic, folk, pop type of music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a live sense and feeling to a song no matter if it's built solely using programmed drums and 1 acoustic guitar or a full live recorded band.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work mostly in the box as a mixer in ProTools. I mostly record live instruments on a AT4040 or SM57. My at home studio setup consists of heavy acoustic treatment in a room with Yamaha HS7s and an Apollo Twin. For keys tracks I use a Roland Juno DS-88.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Music with live instrumentation, mostly. Folky types, Joshua Sloan, Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzy McAlpine, Mt Joy, etc. Producers like Ethan Gruska
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I record a lot of electric and acoustic guitars, piano and bass, as well as produce and mix mostly acoustic led songs (folk, rock, country).
