Mixing engineer for Regional Mexicano, Corridos & Latin Urbano. Credits include Charles Ans, Calle 24, Luis R Conriquez, Gera MX, Nanpa Básico & Grupo Máximo Grado. I bring a producer’s ear to every mix—protecting the record’s identity while adding clarity, impact and finish.
I’m Josh Perales — a mixing engineer, producer and musician based in Guadalajara, Mexico.
My work lives between Regional Mexicano / Corridos and Latin Urbano / Hip-Hop, including records that blend those worlds. I’ve worked across mixing, production, recording, arranging, songwriting and performance, and that experience shapes the way I approach every mix.
I think like a producer before I think like an engineer. My goal is to understand what makes the record work, protect its identity, and give it the balance, impact, depth, vocal presence and translation it needs to feel finished.
My credits across different roles include projects with Charles Ans, Calle 24, Luis R Conriquez, Gera MX, Nanpa Básico, Grupo Máximo Grado, Jasiel Núñez, Código FN and Michelle Maciel. My engineering work includes stereo mixing, immersive / Dolby Atmos mixing and vocal engineering.
I’m especially comfortable with genre-blending productions: corridos with urban elements, live instruments with programmed production, and hip-hop with organic instrumentation.
I work in English and Spanish and collaborate remotely with artists and producers worldwide.
