Professional guitarist and producer ready to turn your song ideas into amazing finished tracks. Other services include guitar sessions, drum programming, vocal tuning and editing, mixing and mastering.
I've been playing guitar for over 40 years, and mixing and mastering for over 20 years. I can take your rough song ideas and help you turn them into complete finished tracks. I'm also available for mixing, mastering, drum programming and guitar sessions. The attached audio file showcases how I can turn simple demos into fully fledged tracks and the Soundcloud link will take you to a variety of tunes in different genres. I specialise in creating midi drum parts that sound like human players and I also have a sideline in textural guitar, looping and soundscapes. I will do my absolute best to ensure that you have an easy and pleasant experience working with me and that you are 100% happy with the finished product!

Endorse Simeon HarrisI have used Simeon for many years – for mixing/mastering and also playing guitar and adding programmed instruments, ranging from acoustic folk to progressive rock and metal. He is respectful of the character of my original recordings but combines this with imaginative ideas to improve arrangements, instrumentation, etc. He shows great care and skill at matching the tones of all instruments to the style of each song and huge attention to detail in cleaning up imperfections in raw stems. I keep returning to Sim because I’ve been happy with the results every time.
I have known Simeon for many years and is a very skillful musician/guitarist..He can offer a range of high-end skills with an excellent sound for studio and live work..I would highly recommend Simeon Harris for any professional recording project or live performance..
I have work with Simeon many years ago for an album mixing and remote guitar recording.
He is very Professional and the result was incredible, the sound was huge and clear, and it was a pleasure to work with him.Based on a recommendation, I contacted Simeon with a particular project in mind: a commission for a video soundtrack that had to simultaneously shape the overall mood while not overshadowing the visual content - and contain hints and suggestions of a specific music genre. With such a specific brief, I worried that the result would be too much of a pastiche and miss the mark, but the track he produced was exactly what was needed and I was absolutely delighted with his craftsmanship and artistry.
Interview with Simeon Harris
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Here's a good tip - if you're programming drums and you want to add some human "feel", just push all the snare hits back behind the beat a little bit!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I don't have a "usual". I'm happy to work in almost any style!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I've been a guitar player for over 40 years and I have been recording, composing and producing music for almost as long as that, so I think I bring an enormous amount of knowledge and experience to what I do. Having a good understanding of what the artist is trying to achieve and then being able to contribute just the right elements to bring those ideas to life is the key.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a small studio, but for guitars I use the amazing Fractal Audio AxeFx 3. UAD plugins , Omnisphere, Trilian, Kontakt and a host of other software instruments help me achieve consistent and professional sounding results.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm constantly delighted by Trevor Horn's creativity as a producer, I think he's still one of the industries best.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I turn basic song ideas into fully fledged tracks, which are mixed and mastered to a professional standard. I'm first and foremost a guitarist and guitar sessions are my bread and butter. I also do drum programming...either creating polished performances for client's songs, or replacing poorly recorded or performed parts with great sounding replicas.
I was the Producer. I played and programmed all the instrumentation. I mixed and mastered all the songs in this production
