Daniel Escobar is a GRAMMY-winning recording engineer, mixer, and producer based in Los Angeles. Born in Cali, Colombia, he discovered a passion for rock music and recording while playing guitar in his Houston-based band Emery Heights. His early experience led him to Full Sail University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Recording Arts.
Escobar launched his career at Hit Factory Criteria in Miami, working with industry giants like Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Scott Storch, and Timbaland. In 2022, he moved to Los Angeles, expanding his clientele to include Lil Wayne, Sia, Alec Benjamin, Marc Anthony, Offset, Karol G, and more. His accolades include a GRAMMY for Barbie The Album and multiple RIAA multi-platinum certifications for artists such as Polo G, Lil Nas X, and Myke Towers.
With a keen ear for detail, Escobar blends technical precision with artistic vision, crafting immersive soundscapes that stay true to the artist’s intent while captivating audiences worldwide.
