I serve your song, that´s my number one rule. I´m a professional guitar player, specialized in Rock, Folk, Americana, Pop, Grunge & Punk. Delivering a ready to mix high quality guitar track, I will write/record a guitar part, guitar solo, electric and/or acoustic track, accordingly to your request. I´ve been playing and recording for over 30 years.
Hi! I´ve been recording guitars, doing studio work and playing live for over 30 years now. I love serving the song and finding that guitar part and/or solo that suits each particular track so well.
I would love to hear what you have in mind to give me a clear idea of the sound and type of guitar playing you're envisioning for your song.
I have no problem doing revisions. I know how important a song is to its writer and I will do my best to deliver what I think the song deserves.
I apply the same philosophy when it comes to mixing a song, recording bass guitar, or programming drums.

Nahuel is an incredible musician to work with and I'd highly recommend him to other musicians looking for a session musician or producer. His technical guitar skills are on another level. But more than that, his breadth of experience and level of professionalism make for a trusting, collaborative environment necessary to create great music. He always puts the music first. Whether his role is as a session guitarist, sound engineer, or producer, he brings a nuanced understanding to any project and always makes it better than I could have originally imagined.

Interview with Nahuel Pisano
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Pablo Aragona
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm always working on something. At the moment, I just finished recording guitars and programming drums for a client's album. I've been remixing another client's old song for a future release, and I'm pretty much working on my own solo stuff all the time.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Telecaster, Vox Ac30, Pro Tools, sm57 and any interface that might work.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I think Americana is what describes me the most, although I believe I have a British type of approach as well.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Too many.....Tom Petty, Mike Campbell, Izzy Stradlin´, Willie Nile, The Wallflowers, Soul Asylum, Bruce Springsteen, Green Day
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I talk to the client first, listen to his vision, and immediately start working.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly record electric guitar tracks. I also mix, master and produce records.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I ask them what they envision for their song, whether I'm recording guitars, bass, mixing, or programming drums. I also ask them for references, but they usually come with that in mind.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: First of all, that I will work on their songs with the same respect and dedication that I give to mine. Secondly, I promise them a full refund if they are not satisfied.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: When it comes to guitar playing and recording, I love finding that hidden melody or guitar part that the song was asking for.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I´m dedicated, responsible and I usually work pretty fast.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to bring whatever it is that the song is asking for, nothing else.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Willie Nile, Joe Perry, Mike Campbell, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, The Wallflowers, Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, The Ramones, Green Day, Soul Asylum, Redd Kross, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Neil Young, The Beatles...The list is too long. A lot of country music artists, blues players such as Robert Johnson, Albert Collins, Mike Bloomfield, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton & Albert King to name a few.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I´ve been recording, writing and performing for over 30 years.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I love working on singer-songwriter type of songs; they're my favorites. Being a singer-songwriter myself, I know how important a song is to its creator, so I treat each and every song I'm working on with the respect and dedication that it deserves. I'm comfortable with styles such as rock, folk, americana, pop, grunge, and punk rock. Additionally, acoustic songs always bring me joy.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work mainly on Pro Tools. My favorite setup involves a Fender Telecaster through a Vox AC30 with Celestion Blue speakers. Additionally, I own a variety of pedals to complement this setup, including pedals from Strymon, MXR, Fulltone, TC Electronics, and Boss, to name a few. When needed, I also use amp modelers, with the Strymon Iridium being my go-to choice. For acoustic guitars, I typically mic them with condenser microphones—sometimes a single one, other times with a pair. Occasionally, I'll use an old SM57, depending on the sound that I'm after and how I want it to sit on the track. When it comes to mixing, I use different approaches depending on the type of song I'm working on.
