Songwriter, Session Musician

PhilipJ on SoundBetter

I have written hundreds of songs for both myself and other artists, many of which have been officially released. I’m proficient in several instruments, including guitar and bass, but first and foremost I’m a vocalist.

My name is Philip. I was born in a small town in western Finland around the beginning of the new millennium. However my taste in music far exceeds my age.
I grew up with the music of the 50’s & 60’s and as I grew older I started exploring outside the birth of Rock n’ Roll and fell in love with country, blues, soul and heavy rock as well.
I would say I have a pretty wide knowledge when it comes to music history.

I have been working full time as an Artist and musician for almost 10 years to the day. I started when I was fifteen. I have a unique voice (in todays standard) thanks to my influences of old. The same goes for my writing style, although I have no problem adapting to whatever style is preferred!

  10. A: I started gigging when I was 14, before that I spent my whole days playing guitar, singing, and writing music. pretty much everything I wrote back then was terrible, so my school was trial and error. I have access to a wide array of microphones and also several ways I can record if the song/production needs it.

  25. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
