Check the audio sample to listen to the demos vs final products to know exactly what to expect from my job.
I´m a professional producer and composer: for 20 years I´ve been composing, arranging and producing music for advertisement, film, TV and trailers. Nowadays, I´m composing music for two big trailer publishers in Hollywood. The variety of jobs I´ve done all these years forced me to explore almost every single music style, from Orchestral to EDM, Hip Hop, Pop, Rock and many more, so even if every style is challenging in its own way, I´ve done them all.
Also, I play classical piano to bass and guitar, and that makes things easy and fast as I can record instruments myself at my own studio.
If you listen to the samples you will find out exactly what to expect from my work, these are two demos that clients sent me and the final product (recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by me) I sent back a couple of days later.
Cheap prices because I´m new to the platform, They wont last much!!

Interview with Zeca Sara
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Being used to work for media, with briefs, for others, my personal projects are always the ones I´m most proud of. KRMPCK was a nice techno project I had in my twenties with fair success, the freedom of doing whatever you want in the music is unique. Another cool day of my music life was to produce a recording session with John Cale from The Velvet Underground for a movie scene. Amazing day.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Composing music for trailers un Hollywood.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I´m really new to the platform.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Good ears can get equal results in any format.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: They will be happy with their song, no matter how many revisions it takes.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Freedom. Freedom to express myself in music, freedom to choose my working schedule, and mostly freedom to spend time with my family.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Often people is worried about timing, especially in the TV world. After 20 years I learned to work fast and under pressure.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Most people think that everything can be solved and fixed in the production or the mix. Most things can, but most important cant: a good song has to be good from the Demo. Then, it can get better.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: It´s important to know exactly what they want and how open are they to suggestions or changes on what they need. Flexible clients get better results, but if the client knows exactly what they want and explain and show references its way easier to get to the results they expect.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be detailed on your needs and provide a reference track. Producers, or mixing engineers (or anybody) we are not inside your head and have our own point of view on everything. Be open to suggestions from others.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Monitors, Interface, Electric Guitar and mic.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 20 years composing for films & TV and producing music for myself and others. Released tracks in labels all around the world with my EDM trio (KRMPCK). Now I´m working with to major trailer music publishers in Hollywood.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Despite the music style, if body doesn´t respond to music I´m doing it wrong.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Radiohead. My favorite band ever, amazing songs and always trying new things, and exploring in the music and the production.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: To ALWAYS have a reference track in every stage of the process.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mostly orchestral trailer music, EDM, Rock and Pop. And some Hip Hop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Openness.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: 20 years of experience composing and producing for films, trailers, advertisement and TV, as well as working with other people music made me explore almost every style and always listen to a broad spectrum of music, and I´m very used to work with directors and music supervisors so I guess that it makes it easer to understand client needs and explore the best paths to a perfect music product.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It really depends on the material I receive! Every project has its own workflow and needs, but I usually ask for the tracks or demo to the client and references, produce (or mix) a v1, and then start working with client point of view to have the best possible final product, I offer unlimited revisions to get the client to be happy with the product and the job.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work inside the box, Pro Tools or Ableton Live and mix and mater with Alesis and Adam Audio monitors, and Sony and VSX headphones, For recordings I have a cool AT4060 with some valvular preamps, MOTU and Audient Interfaces an epic Gibson Lucille BB King Signature edition guitar and a Yamaha Bass.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: From Beethoven to Ramones, Radiohead, Michael Jackson to Richie Hawting or BRMC, from Beatles to Billie Eilish.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually receive a demo or a multitrack with client recordings, ask for references on how client would like to sound like and work along with him or she to find the best product possible, I´m open to suggestions and always try to put clients ideas first as I understand that is his/her song and not mine. Im a composer too and I know the effort and passion we put in our music. I really like open minds and clients accepting other views to find the best final products tho.
