I'm new to this platform but not a newbie. Since the 90's I’ve engineered, produced and mixed projects for 100’s of indie bands plus some of Australia’s best selling artists such as silverchair, Powderfinger, Missy Higgins, Birds of Tokyo, Daniel Johns and The Smith Street Band.

In recent years I've been exclusively mixing, and offer a completely online service. It's pretty simple - you send me your multitrack files which I mix at my studio, at my own pace and without distractions. When complete, I will send you the mix for your approval and suggestions.

For you the artist, there are three main advantages online mixing offers:

1. Evaluating the mixes - you can listen in your own time, and in your own environment. Check it at home, in the car and let me know if there are any tweaks you'd like to hear. I've found this works much better than the artist coming in to a unknown studio environment and having to make decisions on the spot.

2. Recallability - I can come back to a mix a few days later to implement your changes. Pretty hard to do that on a big console at a commercial studio without incurring significant expense.

3. Cost - working from my own studio this way ends up costing you less than half of a traditional studio session.
