Multi-faceted engineer and producer who has mixed pop hits like "Set in stone" by Utah the Movie.
Hi, my name is Will! I am a song-writer, producer, instrumentalist, and most importantly, mixing/mastering engineer. I originally come from Pennsylvania but I currently based in North Carolina and studying engineering in London, UK in the fall and spring.
Credits included mixing for Utah the Movie, Luke Williford, and Dev Silva to name a few. I currently mixing rock album for a new band.
In my service, I provided quality mixes and masters for budget prices! As a musician myself, I know how ridiculously expensive it can be to get even just one song mixed and mastered. So offering reasonable prices per song, without losing out on the quality of the mix. I am quick, efficient, and dedicated to my field. I have a passion for quality sound and tantalizing mixes, and hope I can get the opportunity to work with you!

Interview with Will Epp
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Coldplay someday. In many ways I can credit them for my love of music as they were the band my mom raised me and my siblings listening to, and I learned to play guitar by playing along with their records.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill in mixing lies in achieving exceptional spatial balance. I have a finely tuned ear for placing elements within the stereo field with precision, ensuring that each component occupies its own distinct space without compromising the integrity of the original sound.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Logic stock chorus plug-in, default setting, 100% wet, instant stereo image with minimal phase issues (try it on bass).
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I mostly work on pop, rock, blues, and alternative music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I have a good understanding of how to translate an artist's vision into a polished, cohesive mix that enhances the emotional impact of the song. As a producer and songwriter myself, I can also offer creative insight that carries over into the technical mix process!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to start with the fundamentals, and then once I feel that I have a good foundation for the mix (gain staging, level balancing, some EQ and compression), that's when I go for the creative stuff! I love to use automation and I'll do it with pretty much anything. I'm not afraid to get a little weird here and there.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a primarily digital setup using UAD analog emulation software, alongside advanced plugins from FabFilter and SoundToys. I also have a shared studio space equipped with a 24-channel Audient console and a few 500-series API and Neve preamps, integrating analog hardware into the mixing process for optimal sonic depth and character.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on a rock/blues album for an upcoming duo!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Best of both-worlds is my answer. I use analog to feel the music, the movements, the colors, the warmth, and most importantly - that crispy saturation! I use digital for convenience and when I need to be very technical.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Artists - Mk.gee Mixing - Jeff Ellis Mastering - Simon Lancelot
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Over the years, I’ve taken on various roles in the record production process, including producing, composing, and songwriting, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of music creation. Recently, I’ve honed my expertise in mixing and mastering, delivering polished, high-quality post-productions that meet and often exceed client expectations.
