I'm an acoustic multi-instrumentalist from Kitchener, Ontario who focuses on folk, bluegrass, old-time, and modern folk genres. I play acoustic guitar, clawhammer and Scruggs-style banjo, mandolin, and upright bass. I've been playing as a gigging and recording musician for 15 years, toured Canada and charted on college radio.
I'm a multi-instrumentalist that specializes in folk and bluegrass music. I play acoustic guitar (flat picking and finger picking), clawhammer, 2 finger, and Scruggs style banjo, mandolin, and upright bass. I can play rhythm, lead, and solos on all instruments. I've recorded several albums in my home studio as well as various pro studios around Ontario.
I'm diligent in the studio, making sure to practice ahead of time and be ready to hit the ground running in the studio. I'm great at following instructions to try to play a specific style, and I truly shine when left to my creative impulses to develop the best take I can. I always improvise my solos to make unique sounding breaks that'll leave a memorable mark on any track.
