Interview with DJ Seip
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Connecting with all the creative and talented artists. Meeting new people and creating amazing music with them that you will live to always enjoy and be proud of.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: A fair mix of both. Digitally you can work faster and more precisely, but without the Analog gear your song will always be missing that warmth and soul. Its the gear on its own, that even in bypass, adds a unique sound to the audio.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Nelly or Ryan Leslie, because they are not only amazing performers, they are brilliant musicians with an amazing sound. I believe a session with these two artists would be loaded with an intense amount of creativity and motivating vibes. It would be session where i can learn trips and tricks, create great music, and have fun all at once.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Who are you as an Artist? What is the sound your brand is striving for? Are you a summer or winter person? Do you prefer dark clothing or bright clothing? The seasons and clothing colors you prefer reveal a lot about the type of sound you prefer. If its a tad brighter and shinier or more dark and grungy, etc.
