Hi there! I'm an audio engineer, producer, and classically trained singer - I specialize in tracking, comping, and tuning vocals, as well as mixing and mastering.
I've been working professionally in both live sound and studio recording for three years. I have a Bachelor's degree from Shenandoah University in Music Production & Recording Technology with a concentration in vocal performance, so I specialize in vocal recording, coaching, and editing, but I do every step of the process in my own productions.
I'm available for:
- Vocal Production (Remote or in person)
- Vocal Editing - Tuning, comping, aligning, etc.
- Mixing + Mastering

Interview with Theresa Brown
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For a full production, I like to start with a demo track and get a basic guitar and a scratch lead vocal, then continue to build the song around the vocal. On a vocal day, I like to begin with a couple full run-throughs and then track line by line, really focusing on consistency in the tone and perfection in the delivery of every single detail of the melody.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm based out of Panda Studios in Fremont, CA, so I have a professional studio facility that includes Pro Tools 12 HD System, outboard preamps from API and Undertone Audio, a plethora of microphones, guitar amps, and drums, and plugins including the Autotune producer suite, Waves' Creative Access suite, and more!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Harry Styles, Fall Out Boy, and Glass Animals.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do a lot of direct vocal coaching on recording days, along with additional tuning and aligning.
