Interview with Dante Castelli - Stress Brain

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Any song I have worked on, each one of them are like children, I treat every song I work on that way, my name is there and no one knows when someone important sees your name there. The opportunity to work on and enhance songs, both mine and those of other people, is a gift and should not be missed.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I still work on 2 albums and singles for a new women artist.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: I work generally on Digitals platforms, The difference is very little noticeable, and it also depends on whether all the equipment has adequate maintenance and its respective calibrations. On the other hand, a digital plug-in always works in the same way, and it also costs 10% of the analog equipment and is not very transportable. when traveling in camping situations.

  14. A: They generally ask me how we can achieve certain sounds or sensations, and my answers are based on that, sometimes a lot of trial and error and sometimes to the point. For example, how do you make it sound like Bud Bunny? My answer is, it is difficult to sound like him, because perhaps he does not have the same register or timbre, but I do tell him that we can achieve that punch of the voice and without dynamics that bad bunny transmits.
